iPod Shuffle 10 song challenge
1) Spin Doctors- Two Princes
This is an oldie as it's one I remember hearing on the radio as a kid. It's stuck with me since I first heard it and I admit to singing along any time I hear it.
2) Hail the Villain- Run Away
This is the first song I heard by Hail the Villain; I actually was going through another bout of boredom with the music I have and was clicking videos in the recommended section on YouTube and stumbled upon this gem. It's one of my go-to's when I'm working on something action-y in a story or just when I'm exercising.
3) Three Days Grace- I Hate Everything About You
Ah the memories. I got my first iPod (I now have an iPhone which doubles as my iPod) back in junior high/grade school and Three Days Grace was the first song I ever put on it.
4) Slipknot- All Hope Is Gone
I... don't really know what to say about this one. I actually forgot I had it on my iTunes, haha. It has a great drum beat and seems like it'd be good music to listen to when writing. Also probably great workout music.
5) Taeyang feat. G-dragon - I Need a Girl
High school memories! I remember being on my way to prom with my friends when this came on my iPod and singing along to the song with all my friends.
6) Girugamesh- Border
I've loved this song since I first heard it. I have no shame in rocking out to it whenever it's on. I think this is one of my most played songs by them? I also admit to going into fangirl mode at Satoshi's smile in the beginning of the music video because it's adorable.
7) GD & TOP - High High
Ah the first song I heard from this subunit. I remember watching the music video and just laughing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and still do. I just find it amusing.
8) DIR EN GREY - Tousei
I'll start off by saying that the album this is from is my absolute favorite album ever. There isn't a single song I don't like on the ARCHE album. Anyways, this song has some beautiful work instrument-wise and Kyo's vocals are amazing. Seriously, he has an amazing vocal range. & I'm not sure why exactly but this song is very soothing to me.
Though most of what I think of when I hear it is sending texts to park yoochun talking about the album and how much I loved it. How she put up with my texts compromised of me freaking out about the album in general is beyond me. CX
9) Flyleaf - Justice & Mercy
I'm not so much into Flyleaf any more but they were a favorite shortly after I started high school. Rock music soothes me when I'm stressed.
10) D'espairs Ray - Horizon
Another favorite and one of the first jrock bands I heard on iTunes (the very first one was Girugamesh). Sadly this group disbanded back 2011, but they still remain one of my favorite jrock bands.
