Gender Neutrality

Recently, the fact my gender is displayed as female has been bothering me for some odd reason I can't seem to understand. Anyway, I finally navigated my ancient self to the settings, and I see there isn't a gender neutral option. That got me thinking, why is it so important to me to have a gender neutral/gender NA option? I identify as a cis female, but I still like the ability to hide my gender (which I normally do if I get the chance.)

For instance, on IMVU. A while back, they got the option of having your gender hidden, which is what I currently have my profile set to. I mean, people still refer to me as a female on account of my feminine avatars, but I also run amok in a male fit as well, and I accept both pronouns. However, before they added that option, I'd constantly switch between male or female and it was a bit... exhausting, haha.

But back on topic, I kinda want a hidden gender option of some sort, maybe the options Goatlings has. They have such cute icons for it, too.
