For a story I'm writing, I need to know what procedures happens when someone has a party(with alcohol) and overdose on what they claim to be is painkillers, but they lie and it's really heroin that they've overdosed with.
What are the medical procedures that need to be carried out to ensure that the person doesn't die and how long do they have to stay in Hospital, all of that stuff.
