It was probably the funniest shit i've ever heard. Me and my cuz-slash-best bud were like talking about music (typical) when our conversation went to Power Metal music. i told her about this song i really liked, March of Mephisto by Kamelot.
I liked it coz it had this nice demon drawl in the intro part where you get the feel that the demon, presumably Mephisto is rallying his soldiers for a war...or as the title suggests, a march.
so i was really getting into how much the song got itself embedded in my head, she confessed something.
She had heard of the song. and it had given her nightmares.
shocked? yes. tickled? whoa yeah. unbelieving? you bet.
how could anyone have nightmares over something like:
ASPIRAT PRIMO FORTUNA LABORI
ME DUCE TUTUS ERIS
VOX POPULI VOX DEI
AD MAIOREM DEI GLORIAM...
AD INFINITUM
huh? okay, so maybe its a lot less with oomph when in writing...
And she also didn't like it when i asked her to listen to Santana's Into The Night. What?! She's really starting to worry me. probably needs to check her shrink or sumthin....har.
