Should I or shouldn't I?

I want to put up my story on this site, but I'm afraid... I don't know why, but it feels nervous to just put your own work out here.
For all my friends to read, to anyone on Mibba to read.. =S.. I've always had a hard time with people reading my stuff. Mostly because everyone says that I'm sooooo good at writing, even though they haven't read a single thing of my work, so it feels like everyone has so big expectations on me.
I know I shouldn't care about what other people think, but I'm still not sure. I can easily put up the prolog... Yeah, I think I will... But I'm still scared. I think I'll let my sister read it to say what she thinks before I do it. Haha. I feel so nervous about this, it's kinda pathetic. But hell, I'm very shy... So that's what's putting strains on me.
