Bands I Am Currently Enjoying That Influence My Band, That You May or May Not Enjoy

Not meant to offend anyone, just trying to broaden people's musical tastes. And I'm also not assuming all of you have never heard of them, but maybe some of you haven't and would enjoy their tastiness.

Anyway, here goes :

The Human Abstract (Progressive metal)
Between the Buried and Me (Progressive DEATH METAL)
Protest the Hero (progressive metalcore)
MyChildren MyBride (metalcore)
From Autumn to Ashes (metalcore)
The Meligrove Band (rock)
The Weathermaking Challenge (ska/rock)
Skillet (Alternative Rock)
Saturnus (doom metal)
Puscifer (not really classifiable)
No Use For a Name (hardcore)
Neurosis (doom metal)
The Misfits (goth punk)
THE MELVINS (Sludge Metal/Grunge THEY WERE NIRVANA'S FAVOURITE BAND)
The Mars Volta (progressive rock)
Muse (progressive rock)
KING CRIMSON (progressive rock CAME LONG BEFORE PINK FLOYD)
Isis (progressive metal)
Haste the Day (metal)
Bright Eyes (folk)
EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY (post-rock)
CIRCA SURVIVE (rock)
The Blood Brothers (Groove Hardcore)
Bless the Fall (hardcore)
Attack in Black (alternative)
Alpha Galates (Progressive metal)

BRAINTOY (PROGRESSIVE METAL) --> THEY WILL BE HUGE

Anyway, just some ideas for people to try out. They make me feel quite good inside, most of the time, and a good number of them have amazing lyrics, for the bans that HAVE vocalists :O What an amazing concept, eh? Nah, I just see some people on a day to day basis, or on various sites that could really try to broaden their musical perception beyond what they hear on the radio. All of these bands are doing something new and original and don't get the credit they deserve.

Anyway, I'm starting a folk project. I'll keep you updated. So far, I've got a few songs in my head and recorded. Might try and combine a few tasty genres (metal/folk, anyone?) together.

I live for my dreams, and a pocketful of gold,
