Well, I finally did it. I told my 4 friends how I feel about them smoking. I cried.

I went to the Truth website, wrote down about 15 facts (particularly the ones about the deaths, and the amount of youth smokers), then went outside to them while they were smoking, and read them. Sure, at first, one or two of them were "Psh!" ing the facts
but then Becca said "Hey, lets actually listen"
Then I continued, Sure, I started crying too.

I made up the last one I read.

theres at least one person in a group of friends who wants everyone to quit, but eventually that person will stop trying, in fear of their friends getting mad at them

My friends get really mad when I wont shut up about them smoking, I think i scare them actually. 2 out of the 4 of them were afraid to let me know they smoke.'

:]

I just read this.
about 5% of smokers a year quit smoking long-term.
:D!

Usually, my actions have a meaning. For example: My listening to "MY hero"

"There goes my hero, watch him as he goes"
I plan on going out there again in a second and singing that over and over again. Why?
Because [insertnamehere] was the one person I thought would stick with me in the "Dont smoke" thing. She just started smoking tonight.
Shes 13. She was like my hero with the smoking thing. She started smoking tonight. There she went...

today, about 3900 kids tried their first cigarettes.
1/3 smokers start(ed) before 14.
