My Chemical Romance Concert ; May 9, 2008

Gather 'round, my fellow Mibbians, because it's time for the story of my second MCR concert in one week! This was the last show on the tour, and MCR's first-ever show at Madison Square Garden, so it was definitely high-energy! The setlist was the same as in Philadelphia (see my last journal for the list), except with the addition of "The Sharpest Lives" in place of "Thank You For The Venom".

Some of the highlights of the night were definitely during "Famous Last Words", when Gerard picked up Mikey and carried him across the stage, Bob going absolutely fucking NUTS on the drums during "Helena", and Gerard making us do the wave all throughout the huge arena! (he wanted to see if the NYC wave was better than the UK wave). Ray also had gotten a new camera, and right before "Teenagers", Bob took a picture of the entire crowd with it. =D

Of course I cried during "Sleep", "Cancer", and "Welcome To The Black Parade" (which my friends thought was pathetic...haha.), but I felt SO sad when Gerard announced that this was going to be their last show for 2 years! I can't believe that I'm going to have to go that long...=(
Hopefully The Black Parade Is Dead will keep me busy. Teehee!

So, last night was definitely amazing. Every time I see MCR, the feeling I get when I see them gets better every time, and I am absolutely, positively seeing them when they tour again. Unfortunately, from now until my next concert, my life will be terminally boring. But at least the light-up boa in my room will hold some fantastic memories.

Man, I love those guys. <3
