AWESOME!!!

So my friend Evan has this band thing going on with two of his friends. He has a mini recording studio in his room so he put a track that they did on a CD and let me listen to it.
And let me tell you:

It was awesome.
It was just music(no lyrics), but it sounded really good. Evan is guitar and his friend Justin plays bass and they play well with each other (like good little children ;P). The only problem I had with it was the drums were a little off beat, but that can be fixed. I mean, the guy never took lessons, so what can you expect?
But the really good news is what Evan asked me today.
He said this to me ever so casually while we were skipping PE.

"Hey,Laura, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Well, we need a singer for our band, and TJ and Justin don't want to do it."
"You can do it. No big deal."
"I think it'd be a good idea if you were our singer."
"...Seriously?" He nodded, and I said yes.

I am sooo happy.
