CD player... or Ipod?

*sighs* Okay, for the past fourteen years I have been stubborn and use a CD player while everyone else around me are carrying around Ipods, MP3s, Zunes, etc...

I love my CD player! I've only had one and I got it in the ninties, I'm suprised it still works, the only thing I keep having to replace are my headphones cause I always blast my music. I like it loud. X)

Now with it being the end of the school year (I get out tomorrow) my mom always get's me celebratory presents and stuff, and she's been bugging the living crap outta me about getting me an Ipod.

I know some kids would go instantly "IPOD!" But hears my issue... I have a mega CD collection.

Okay, you know one of those giant bookcase things? Yeah, my CDs take up all the space of it. Nothing but wall to wall compact discs.

I'm trying to weigh out the pros and cons of CD players and Ipods and I need your people's help!

Should I stick by my CD player? Or should I get out of the techno stone-age and upgrade to an Ipod?

Can you guys tell me which would be better?

I would seriously appriciate your help!
