Green Day, Cult?

Have you ever met a Green Day fan?
A real one, one that has devoted their life to Green Day?
Yeah their all obsessed right?
They even have a name for it,
OCGDD
Obsessive Compulsive Green Day Disorder

I believed I was obsessed,
Then I thought it out.
If some one Hates Green Day, I hate them.
I would rather Be alone with my Green Day posters and Cd's then with real people.
Billie Joe Armstrong has a Manson-Like hold on most fans.
You almost never find a true Green Day fan who use to be Devoted to another band.
My theory is,
In 1994 much like in 2004, Teens and Pre-Teens who had never really been exposed to music found Green Day.
Most of those people are still in love with this band.

My main point is that Most Green day fans Act like cult followers
A cult band is a term often used to describe a rock and roll band with a dedicated base of fans whose appreciation of the band goes beyond merely enjoying their music.
Most Green Day fans Care about the people just as much as the music.
Most collect merchandise Like it will be worth some thing one day.
Most fans know more about Green Day than they do about them self's.
Most fans are like cult followers.
