Rockstar Girlfriends?

Joel and Benji Madden. If you've heard some of their earlier work, it's no surprise that they were in the 'socially unaccepted' crowd. If you have eyes, it's no surprise that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were in the 'socially accepted' crowd. Ten years ago, Paris and Nicole never would have given those men the time of day. So now, doesn't it seem a little sellout-esque for them to be cavorting with the very women that would have ignored them without fame?

Now My Chemical Romance weren't known to be the most popular guys, either. All their significant others seem like people that would always accept them for who they have always been.

It might just be me, but it seems like Rockstars with high-maintenance partners may just want to prove something. They couldn't get a girl like that before, so that's who they are going for now.
I have nothing against Paris or Nicole.
Well, I don't really have anything for them, either.
This has just been on my mind.
Good Charlotte's taken quite a step away from "Waldorf Worldwide" and I don't like the direction they've turned to.
