OMG I ALMOST DIED story for last week.

lesson to the smart: never let drunks set off fireworks.
kso i was like chillin on the deck over the river watchin the fireworks thursday, and i wasn't rly payin attn but i guess a rather drunk man was lighting a firework and he pointed it the wrong [AKA at me] so i'm like watchin the fwerks and mindin mah own business when i'm like...ENGULFED in sparks....it was actually pretty cool and i didn't even catch on fire...

a lesson to those who are now deathly afraid of floods: they really aren't that bad...kinda fun now...two in one year, another maybe on the way, who knows. a smart person said something that i have a feeling will stick with me for a long time. 'the river don't care.' i guess there are only three things you really can do it A] not care back and B] fill as many damn sandbags you can as fast as you can and C] learn to swim. waders don't last long, and are rediculously tacky. it's just ilke a pool...a really big pool....have fun with it. the best stories are made in the worst situations...
