He nodded. "I can. Will you help me?" He whispered back conspiratorially. He sighed a little, looking up at Marissa. He wondered how much she had missed him these past few years like he had missed her.

She nodded a little and smiled,"Yes," she said to him and giggled covering her mouth a bit.

He laughed and smiled. "What's so funny?" He asked, smiling at her happily. He was already taken by her, his own daughter.

"Shhh, it's our mission," she told him smiling widely, "Mommy can we go with mr. minseok?" she asked her with raised eyebrows and look that said there was no room to argue. Marissa slightly dreaded the attitude that she surely got from her.

"Only if it's okay with Mr. Minseok," she said smiling weakly.

He nodded. "Of course it's okay with Mr. Minseok!" He exclaimed taking her hand to lead back to the dorm, his coffee forgotten.

I looked at Marissa. "Are you okay?" I asked quietly.

She looked at her, "I don't know," she said to her softly as she rubbed her neck ,"Are you okay coming with us?"she asked as she followed them watching her daughter closely.

I shrugged a little. "I feel like I'm intruding, actually. So... I'm not sure." I murmured, watching them talk in front of us.

Minseok smiled at her. "So why is mommy so sad? Is she lonely?" He asked curiously.

She looked at him,"Sometimes she looks at a picture of someone and cries, I saw her once but she hide it before I saw it," she said to him pouting, "I think its of my dad," she said perceptively as she looked at him.

She looked at her,"If you could go with us I'd appreciate it.. I'm barely hanging on at this point,"

I nodded. "Of course," I murmured. "I wouldn't leave you to face this alone." I said softly.

He nodded a bit. "Does mommy have a boyfriend? Maybe she looks at his picture." He said softly. He knew she had to have moved on after she left, but the thought killed him inside.

She shook her head,"Nope, no boyfriend mommy doesn't date anyone, because she works a lot she said she was too busy in Texas to date because she worked almost every day thats why she came back to korea so she could spend more time with me," she smiled.

She nodded a little as they walked a little,"He is a natural, I'm an idiot," she whispered.

I shook my head. "No you arent. You thought you were doing the right thing, and now he gets his chance. Don't beat yourself up about this. Just be happy they're getting along now."

He nodded a little and smiled to himself. "Maybe thats why she's sad. But she must be happy when she's with you. How could she not be happy with such a pretty and smart little girl." He said to her.

She smiled,"I got it from my mommy, she taught me korean, english AND chinese, and she is learning japanese and catonese in school now," she told him nodding a little as she walked, "Mommy is really smart, she deserves a good job where she can be happy,"

She sighed,"I still have assignments for school to do, and I have to prepare for work in two weeks,"

He nodded a little, thinking to himself for a second. Exo was in need of a manager's assistant, and they could use someone multilingual. "You're right. She does." He murmured to her.

I nodded a little. "Well, you'll have time later. You can't stay out all day, and he's going to want to see her again."

She nodded a little,"I know," she murmured softly as she looked at Jazmin as they walked into the buidling.

"Whats this button do?" Ashtyn asked as she pointed to the fire alarm on the wall, "Can I press it?" she said with wide curious eyes.

He grinned and shook his head. "No, it'll make the firemen think there is a fire here. And they get mad when they drive all the way out here. We don't want to make them angry." He said as he unlocked the door.

I sighed a little, running a hand through my hair. "Don't worry. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe this was meant to happen this way."

She nodded a little, and sighed as she licked her lips, "I hope so," she murmure.d

Ashtyn nodded a little then walked into the house for stopping with wide eyes and her eyes bubbled with tears, "I'm sorry I forgot to take off my shoes mama I told you I wouldn't forget," she said.
"Oh honey its okay, just come here we'll take them off now we got your slippersi nt he bag remember it's okay," she told her softly wiping her eyes to avoid all out cry fest.

Minseok shook his head and smiled at Ashtyn. "Don't feel sad. The other people that live here make mistakes all the time. And no one is mad at you, so don't cry. If you cry, then I'll cry too." He said, getting down to her level.

I slid off my shoes, and walked in, putting my bag down silently and looking around. It was a nice dorm.

She helped her put on her slippers, "There no harm done," she said to her smiling a little as she looked at her and brushed her hair out of her eyes.

I sighed a little, leaning against the wall. I felt kinda out of place, but I knew Marissa needed me there.

He smiled at Ashtyn. "What do you want to do?"

Chanyeol walked out of his room, "Ah Hyung, you're back did you get the.. oh who is this?" he asked with a wide smile, his glasses on since he wasn't wearing his contacts.

"Can - who is THAT?!" Ashtyn asked looking up at the taller man who'd walked into the room with wide eyes.
