Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger. Picked it up out of boredom while I was waiting for my mom to pick me up from Barnes and Noble so we could go to dinner together since Golden Corral was doing a free veteran's meal at 5PM. She went to drive and make some money, so I was just sitting in B&N. I tried to read
Milk and Honey by Rumi Kapur and some X-Men comics. But I ended up just grabbing Catcher in the Rye since it was on a display set. I never finished it before. I guess because I never really related to Holden. However, this read around even though I'm way older now, I sort of felt for his feelings of isolation, depression, and uncertainty about his life.
I ended up just buying the darn thing, because I was half way through it when my mom was ready to pick me up.
But I was surprised at how well it sucked me in this time around.
