I Bet You Thought I Was Soft and Sweet

Hook laughed loudly as he clashed his cup with that of his crew mates, resulting in a clinging sound. The crew had just successfully pulled off yet another heist, and they were now celebrating. "Next time mate, look on the ground before you walk into the room, so we don't have a repeat of you stepping on a dogs tail. The bloody hound almost woke the entire town." He warned that of his crew member by the name of Smity. Standing to his feet, Hook finished his drink before saying goodbye to his friends. Hook remembered that he had to work a shift at the tavern his crew and he were in. The man had to have a day job, in case this pirate thing didn't work out. Hook went to the back to change. He took off his coat and grabbed an apron before returning. He then greeted the customers with a smile. "What can I get ya?" He then questioned.

Chesire ran a hand through her hair. Cheshire was a woman who always got what she wanted. She wasn't one to do things for free, magic came with a price and so did her favors. A girl by the name of Alice had been making a name throughtout Wonderland. Second to the queen of hearts, Chesire ran Wonderland, so when Alice came about changing things up, it didn't make Chesire too happy. Chesire was on her way to make arrangements with the queen of hearts in order to stop Alice, when a magical wave came across Wonderland. Chesire froze in her steps as she assessed the situation, she suddenly found herself in another town, one she did not recognize. Chesire began walking down the street, the ends of her dress in hand, when she was almost hit by a moving object. It seemed to be made out of metal, and it had wheels. A man shouted at her to get out of the way. A mixed expression of confusion and anger was placed on her face. "You should watch where you are going, sir! How dare you almost strike me with that beast!" She yelled, a British accent lacing her voice.

Victoria
I swiftly moved through the busy tavern, carrying trays with glasses of alcohol on them. I stopped at a table and placed the drinks on a table and turned around, feeling someone slap my ass. I turned around to see Blackbeard sitting there with a dirty smirk. " Behave" I said to him with a slight giggle. I wasn't from the enchanted forest. I was from a different realm, but somehow I had managed to end up here. I only had my regular clothes back from my world, so what I was wearing was much different from what everyone else was wearing, nobody seemed to mind though. I quickly walked behind the bar, slipping past the blue eyed man that was standing there serving up drinks. I never did pay much attention to whom I was working with. Just the time until I got to go home. I came back from the back room, carrying out more bottles of ale, when I slammed into someone's chest. " Sorry" I said to him, not even bothering to look at his face as I walked away, my skirt hugging onto my hips.

Jefferson
I slammed on my breaks whenever I saw Cheshire walking down the road. I almost hit her. I quickly got out of the car and looked at her. "Well look at what the Evil Queen dragged in" I said with a slight chuckle. "What are you doing here?" I asked. Then when I heard her say that the car was a beast I began to laugh. " It's a car darling. It is a form of transportation." I said to her, looking into her eyes. I always had some sort of feelings for her, b ut I would never admit them to her.

"Whiskey with a splash of, wait what was that?" Hook questioned as he looked to the man. "Water? Well that's an odd request, isn't it?" He questioned with a chuckle. "I'll have it out to you in a jif." He said before turning quickly on the heels of his feet. Hook had turned too quickly, causing he and a woman to collide. A light smirk overtook his face once he saw who he had bumped into. "No worries." He said watching her walk away. "Oi! Miss?!" He called out to her. "Meet me after your shift, yeah?" He then questioned with a grin.

Chesire grimaced at the sound of the screeching brakes. Not being one familiar with this world. Her eyebrows than raised as she saw the Mad Hatter. "Jefferson?" She questioned softly as her eyes landed on him once he was out of the beast- erm, car. When he asked what she was doing there she shook her head. "I was on my way to have words with the queen of hearts, and then poof. I was here." She briefly explained. She furrowed her eyebrows as he laughed at her. "Well perhaps you should be more generous with your- car." She said the word as if she were testing it out. "What are you doing here?" She then asked.

Hook grinned and laughed lightly when she replied with 'Maybe'. He turned back to the man that was asking him numerously for the drink. "Hold your horses, mate. I'll get it for you, whiskey with a splash of tap yes, I know." He said before going tonfetch the drink. He returned, and handed the man hisndrink. Hook picked up a glass and began to clean it out with a cloth, his eyes wondering the tavern, landing on the girl he saw earlier. Seeing her go towards the door, he stopped and put the glass down before taking off his apron. ""I'm going on break." He said before rushing after her. "Have you ever rode starboard on a ship?" He questioned her as he walked beside her.

It hadn't surprised Chesire when Jefferson told her about the Evil Queen's curse. She sighed lightly when he said that was her reason for being there. New clothes? She thought to herself. She looked at her clothing, then at the ones the towns people were wearing, she guessed she did look out of place. "Very well then." She said before hesitantly stepping into his car, with a nod of her head. The engine sounding made her jump, for she was startled. She looked over to Jefferson as he spoke before nodding once more and looking ahead as he drove. When the car stopped, she followed his lead and got out. "When can we go back to Wonderland? " She then questioned.

Hook raised his hands in defense as she snapped at him. "Simply a mere moment of your time, just to get to know you." He said with a charming grin. "Besides, I have some of the best liquor in town on my ship. Yes, the tavern has some good ones, but mine are aged, and as we both know, everything gets better with age." He said with another grin. "What do you say, love?"

"So I am stuck here for twenty eight years? Oh how wonderful." She said with a sigh as she followed him into what was called, "Granny's. ' Cheshire narrowed her eyes as she oooked to a man that was of shorter hieght. "Can I help you, dwarf?" The man, by the name of Sneezy, shook his head before sneezing on Cheshire. She gasped out loudly before looking to Jefferson as he asked a question. "I just lost my appetite, but I'd like for this man to be beheaded. " She said as she pointed to Sneezy, giving him a glare.

Hooked grinned as she wrapped her arm around his. He then proceeded to lead her back to the Jolly Rodger. "How long have you been in town?" He questioned, Hook had seen her at the tavern on numerous occasions, butt it seemed to him that she had appeared out of nowhere. Hook then released her arm before climbing aboard his ship. He extended a hand to help her along.

Cheshire looked to Jefferson with a shocked expression. Yes, she was still stuck in her Wonderland habits, hence her reason for looking at him in a shocked manner. "Well then-" she stopped momentarily and released a sigh before continuing. "-I will managed to change my ways, considering they know not of my stature...Why do they not remember who they are, and why do we?" She then questioned.

A girl with jet black hair then approached the two. "Hey Jefferson, what can I get you and your friend here?" The girl, bythe name of Ruby, asked.

Hook raised an eyebrow as she replied with him, just now showing up at thr tavern. Witty, this one, Hook thought to himself."Well love, I go by numerous names, so feel free to call me anyone you'd like." He then opened a door that had a flight of stairs which led below deck. "Follow me." He said with a grin. "A lot of people call me Captain, hence my ship. Few call me Hook, others Killian. And very rarely, Scoundrel. But that name is not in question for you to call me." Hook explained with a raised brow and a charming smile. He then began to go through his cabinet, pushing through various bottles of alcohol. "What are you in the mood for, dear?"

"Two burgers, and sweet tea. Got it hun." Ruby said with a grin before turning to get the order. Cheshire followed him to the booth and took a seat across from him, listening to him speak. She sighed lightly before folding her hands in her lap. She was never one that was good at comforting people, but she was going to try. She reached across the table and placed a light pat on his shoulder. Though sincere, the action seemed more awkward. "Perhaps you can look at this curse, as more of a gift? They allowed you to keep your memories, rather than rob you of those precious moments you shared with your daughter."

Hook pulled a bottle of whiskey from the cabinet, one that was only a couple years old. "It's not as aged as some of the others, but it still has a fine taste." He said as he examined the bottle. Chuckling some at her reply, he grabbed two glasses before turning to her. "Love, if I knew, I wouldn't be asking. Humor me." He said before pouring the whiskey.

Cheshire frowned slightly, the words she had tried to use as encouragement, had turned to that of discomfort. She sighed lightly, as she tried to think of something to cheer him up, just then ruby came back with their food.

"As requested. " She said as she placed their plates down in front of them, followed by their drinks. "Can I get you guys ahything else?"

"One, is not going to happen. Two, yes I am a pirate, but I'm also a gentleman, and three-" He laughed once. "-I just said I'm a gentleman." He placed her glass in front of her before taking a drink himself. "I'm probably the most loyal pirate you'll see, on these seas. Some of us are just purely in it for riches. Can't even hold conversation. Others, like myself, are different. " He said with a shrug.

Cheshire looked at the burger as Jefferson spoke to her. She figured she'd start off with the tea, even though the beverage's container looked strangely different. She sipped at the tea before placing the glass down and observing the burger. "What exactly do you mean we have a longnday ahead of us?" She questioned as she looked to Jefferson then back to the burger. She then managed to pick it up before attempting to take a bite.

Hook shrugged as she spoke to him. "You say pestered, I say persistent. Some girls find that quality rather attractive. " He said with a grin before leaning his back against the counter. "Why? Well, at first it was just to simply travel, and see the world. Then a pirate, who shall remain nameless, showed me the world had more to offer." He explained before grabbing the bottle and pouring her somemore. "Easy love, I'd like to engage in some more conversation before you pass out on me." He finished with a chuckle.

Cheshire sighed lightly, she didn't understand the need for everything to change just yet, but she was fine with changing everything he had mentioned, until he got to her name, that is. She narrowed her eyes some and raised an eyebrow. "And you are still, Mad, if you think you can change even the smallest details about me, I.e. my name."

(So sorry for the late reply, I just got back into town tonight.)

Hook took the glass and placed it on the counter before turning towards a drawer. He opened it and reached inside. "Sorry love, but I can't have you leave just yet." He said before pulling out a syringe, filled with a small does of puffer fish poison. "It's not going to kill ya, but you will become immobile, and have quite a nasty headache in the morning. " As she turned around, Hook stuck the needle into her neck and injected her before catching her past out body. He tied her to the bed before lightly tapping her face. "Oi! Wake up. I have some questions for you, let's start with your real identity. "

Cheshire raised an eyebrow before nodding slowly. She found no harm in the idea of going under a false identity. "Okay, deal. What odd acts shall I need to perform in order to fit in? I already know I'll be needing hideous cloths like the ones you are wearing." She said with a gesture of her hand before taking a sip of her tea.
