Married to Stop a War

"You aren't forcing me to do anything," Elizabeth replied. "Our families are."

"I know that. I didn't mean that." He murmured and ran a hand down his face groaning. "I meant have sex.they want us to have a kid. I won't force you." He said and looked down at her.

"Its the only way the treaty will be finalized," Elizabeth mumbled. "Either I have your child or more of our kinds will die."

Geoffrey shook his head. "They're not gonna keep killing. The marriage is the union." He said and ran a hand down his face. "Kids just make it fully official because now they have something that's both kinds."

"There are men here in the kingdom won't stop until we have a child," Elizabeth stated. "There are many who think you all are evil. A baby would keep you safe here."

Geoffrey sighed and leaned over, kissing her cheek. "If you want, we will have a child. But I won't force you to do anything you're uncomfortable at." He said quietly.

"You're very kind Geoffrey," Elizabeth smiled. "You'll make a great king."

Geoffrey smiled and shrugged. "A king can only be as great as his queen." He said flirtatiously.

"Well I hope I can match you in greatness," Elizabeth smiled.

Geoffrey smiled and hugged her to him. "You certainly can. I will see you tomorrow for our wedding." He murmured and stood up, brushing himself off.

"Our wedding is tomorrow," Elizabeth asked. "How are we supposed to be married if I dont even have a dress?"

Geoffrey nodded and looked back at her. "I'm not sure, our parents planned it. Not me." He murmured and ran a hand through his hair.

"I hope we don't look foolish tomorrow," she mumbled. "I'm sure you're as little prepared for this as I am."

Geoffrey nodded and chuckled. "It's just our families I believe. It won't really matter. As long as the folks know it's official our kinds will be united."

Elizabeth smiled. "I like the idea of a small wedding. It makes me almost feel normal for once."

Geoffrey nodded and yawned again."I'll see you in the morning for our wedding.im tired, I have to go to sleep now."

"Enjoy your rest," Elizabeth smiled.

Geoffrey left and went to sleep. When he woke up the next morning his mother was fussing over him all morning until he was dressed and ready for the wedding. He followed his father, and Elizabeth's father,makes him to the a,ther where he waiting for Elizabeth to come down the aisle. Sighing to himself. This wouldn't end well, even if their fathers thought so.

Elizabeth was awaken several hours before dawn. The entire time she was fussed over way too much for her liking. The brunette was relieved when she finally walked down the isle. It meant for her the day was almost over.

Geoffrey gave her a weak smile as he watched her. Their vows and the wedding went quick. The priest said to kiss the bride and he pulled her in and kissed Elizabeth quickly.
