The Kids Aren't Alright | Closed.

"She will," Matt said. "She's just watching the pizzas right now."

Elizabeth kept an eye on the pizzas for a little while longer before she went into the living room and sat down next to Matt.

"Star make you sick," Luna asked.

"No baby," Elizabeth stated. "Mommy is just a little stressed out."

Matt pulled Luna into his lap, pressing kisses all over her face before he began tickling her sides.

Elizabeth felt tears fall down her face, feeling extremely guilty for going to see Zack. She got up off the couch and went to go check on the pizzas, cringing when she felt a pain in her abdomen.

Matt watched Elizabeth leave, sighing softly. He didn't know what else to do to make things better.

Elizabeth breathed slowly, leaning against the kitchen counter until the pain went away.

Matt watched tv, smiling when he smelled the pizzas starting to fill the house. "Mm, smells good," he mumbled.

"Go check on mommy and pizza," Luna ordered. She was worried about her mom.

"Well yes ma'am," Matt teased, kissing the top of her head before he stood up and walked into the kitchen. He frowned when he saw Elizabeth. "Are you okay?" he asked, noticing she looked uncomfortable; more than she had before.

"I don't know," Elizabeth admitted. "My stomach started hurting but it stopped."

"Are you sure you don't want to go to the doctor?" Matt asked.

Elizabeth nodded. "I think I should," she mumbled.

Matt nodded. “Would you be more comfortable going with Val? I can call her,” he said.

Elizabeth nodded. She already knew Matt would be pissed if she lost the baby and hoped Val would help calm him down if she actually did.

Matt got up and got the phone, calling Val. He asked her to come get Liz and to bring the boys so they could watch some movies with the girls.

Elizabeth walked into the bathroom, locking the door and slid her pants and underwear down. She saw specks of blood on her underwear and frowned. She quickly put a pad on and slid her pants back on. Her doctor had told her spotting was common with the first trimester of pregnancy so she really hoped that was all that was happening.

When Val arrived, Matt let her and the boys in.

Val walked down the hall, standing in front of the bathroom. “Liz?”

Elizabeth made sure she looked presentable, splashing some water on her face before she opened the bathroom door, "Hey," she mumbled. "Did Matt tell you what happened?"

“He told me you’re worried about the baby,” Val said.

Elizabeth nodded, knowing she couldn't tell Val what had actually happened either. "I fell on my stomach," she mumbled.
