Zoe smiled softly when he met her green eyes and was extremely happy when he actually listened. She laughed seeing his smile and said, "Nothing. It was a joke, apparently, a bad one, but a joke nontheless." She responded amusedly. She listened to his words and nodded, "Well, that's always nice to hear." She told him a smile on her face. She had been cheated on before and knew that it wasn't fun when you spend all your time and energy on one person to have them split their energy between you and another person.

Zoe nodded and said, "Well, I can certainly agree and say that it's not for everyone. I do like it. I get to dance differently and get to do the thing I like every single day." She laughed before looking over to see where he was looking. She nodded at her friends and they just giggled seeing her sitting in his lap and she wiggled her eyebrows at them and they left her alone. "Nah. Where's the fun in that?" She said looking back at him with a smile. She had noticed the sadness but decided not to comment on that. "I'm pretty comfortable. It'd be a shame to disrupt that." She told him with a smirk.

Daniel grinned, "well that's good to hear, I'm enjoying your company," he admitted. He tightened his hold around her waist, suggestively. "It's important to focus on the thing you like every day, whatever or whoever that is," he teased. He let her off his lap, as a song he liked came on, "Would you please dance with me to this song, it's one of my favorites," he said softly.

He finally decided it was time to take of his jacket. He slipped it off placing it onto the table next to his drink. He was wearing a tight tee shirt, that showed off his toned chest, and nicely toned arms. It was clear that he spent some time staying fit.

Zoe laughed and said, "I thought you might say that." She replied feeling his hold on her waist tightened refusing to allow him to see what he was doing to her and smiled softly. She nodded and laughed shaking her head, "You sound like my mother's therapist." She teased before hopping off of his lap taking another sip of her drink before setting it down and said, "Come on." She laughed waiting while he took off his jacket.

She liked the fact that he stayed in shape and nodded her head. She herself liked to keep herself fit, granted she dind't have the common dancer's body. She had quite the toned ass as well as legs but her core was just as defined. She did dance as well as went to the gym. She smiled softly and allowed him to lead the way to the dance floor this time.

Daniel grinned, "You like what you see?" he asked her teasingly. He laced his fingers with hers as they walked back onto the dance floor. He was definitely attracted to her, and her teasing and playing hard to get, was only making him more interested in her.

He decided to lead the dance this time, starting with the beat. He like this song, because it started at a medium pace, sped up towards the middle, but ended nice a slowly. It was the perfect song to pulled a girl into your arms and kiss her as the song ended, and that was his plan.

Zoe laughed and said, "Maybe. Though, I'll never tell you." She replied with a smile. Feeling him lace their fingers, she smiled and looked back seeing her friends smirking at her. She grinned and bit back a laugh as they shooed her. They knew she never went out on dates with guys or was interested in dudes usually since it only ever ended badly for her. She smiled and looked back at him and started to dance with him. She said, "Ya know, I don't think I've ever heard this song before, if I'm being honest." She told him, moving her body to the beat with him smiling softly when they were extremely close.

Daniel chuckled, "now you're just being mean," he teased back at her comment. He could feel her friends eyes on them, but didn't mind too much. He kept her body close to him, and smiled softly, "it's not that common, only a few DJ's use it," he acknowledged. As the music began to slow he pulled her closer, and twirled her around almost perfectly, dipped her, then pulled her back up so he was looking at her straight in the eye. He was the perfect height that if she wasn't in heels, he would be just taller than her, and could stare down at her, but as it was they were about the same height.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and leant in kissing her on the lips deeply, while at the same time lifting her just off the ground by leaning back the slightest amount.

Zoe laughed giving him a slight shrug of her shoulders. "I mean... Yeah." She laughed again and smiled. Hearing his words, she nodded and said, "Hmm. I haven't decided if I like it or not." She laughed. Feeling him twirl her, she smiled looking back at him softly and knew she was in almost five inch heels at the moment. She was normally about five five. She fel his arm go around her waist before feeling him kiss her and giggled when he lifted her up and kissed him back one arm going around his neck gently to keep her balance. She was glad she had decided to go to the club tonight and was more than glad she had decided to get her drink when she did. She wasn't used to her feet being off the ground and burst out laughing and said, "It's not you, I promise. My feet are dangling." She giggled happily.

Daniel smiled as he placed her gently back onto the ground, "what have you never had a dance partner who lifted you?" he teased her lightly. He kept her close, "Thank you for dancing with me again," he said softly. He wondered whether he'd be able to convince her to come back to his place yet, or whether they should keep drinking for a little while longer.

He stepped back from her, "I'm enjoying your company, but it wouldn't be fair to keep you from your friends," he began, he looked over at her friends again, "why don't you introduce me, I'd love to get to know you more, and they'll be a wealth of information," he suggested.

"Not when I've had a lot of liquor." Zoe replied smiling sofly. Hearing him she laughed shaking her head, "You're welcome." She ran a hand through her locks of hair before raising an eyebrow hearing his words. "Alright." She said shrugging. Why not? He's cute.

She took his hand gently before leading him over to her friends before introducing them all and ordered another drink and saw her friends basically hand her a shot and shook her head laughing. "I see you're going for fucked up today." She teased them before downing it and shook her head at the other shots and said, "I'll stick to my drink. It actually tastes good." She laughed looking at Daniel. "Do you want a shot?" She asked with a smile at him.

Daniel smiled softly as she led him over. He kept his arm around her waist, holding her body close to him. "No I'm okay for now, thanks though," he answered when she offered him a shot. He sat down on a bar stool and lifted her onto his lap once again, smiling at her friends.

He wanted to take advantage of the fact her friends were here, "Okay so tell me ladies, What's Zoe like normally, does she fool around guys often?" he asked her friends. He kissed the back of Zoe's neck lightly, his other hand moving up her leg slowly, under the table where her friends couldn't see.

Zoe smiled softly speaking with her friends knowing that only one of them was a dancer like herself, the others had different majors and such, but for some reason they all got alone. "Claire is a criminiology major, Alyssa is a dancer like me, Rae is an English major, though I'm not sure why," She paused teasing her friend before continuing, "and Marie is majoring in forensic science." She smiled soflty feeling him pull her onto his lap and wrapped an arm around his neck to keep her balance sipping on her drink.

Zoe laughed rolling her eyes hearing him and shook her head. Feeling him kiss the back of her neck sent a shiver down her spine and she smiled softly feeling his hand slowly moving its way up her leg. Claire laughed and said, "No, normally she stays locked up in her room or at the gym or in the auditorium practicing or binging on Netflix. I think this is the first time we've seen her with a guy since a year?" Alyssa nodded laughing. "She doesn't date very often that's for sure." Zoe shrugged. "People are overrated." She laughed and her friends shot her a look.

Daniel chuckled lightly, "Well I am certainly glad Zoe came out tonight, its an absolute pleasure to have met her," he admitted. "I can't believe that a girl as beautiful as Zoe, isn't fighting away guys," he added. He pulled her closer, "I promise I'm not a psycho, but at least with what Claire and Marie are studying, if you end up dead tomorrow morning, they'll know who to blame,' he teased softly.

He grinned softly, 'if you girls want to go have a dance, and talk about me behind my back, feel free," he offered, knowing that since her friends seemed to like him they might be able to convince her to come home with him. He pulled Zoe closer, speaking just to her "Just promise you'll at least come back and say bye, I'll be over at the table,' he added.

Zoe rolled her eyes at Claire hearing her say she spent all her time in bed watching netflix. "I think you mean you do. Every time I come in the room you've found a new show." She teased her friend before hearaing Daniel and smiling softly. "Shit, they better know who to blame." She teased smiling at him softly. "I'll haunt your ass." She laughed.

Zoe laughed hearing him and said, "He's got you guys all figured out." She smirked seeing Alyssa glare at her a little before shaking her head sighing. She laughed again and felt him pull her closer and looked at him. "You could come dance with us too, but alright." She replied before taking another sip of her drink having changed her mind about getting drunk that evening. Tipsy, maybe, but not drunk anymore. She stood up and sighed as her friends basically dragged her to the dance floor. She laughed hearing them start to gush about Daniel.

Daniel grinned, 'Maybe if you decide to come back," he teased her as she left. He picked up her drink and the other girls things from the bar, and took them over to the table where he'd left his jacket. He sat in a way to be able to watch her as she danced with her friends. He couldn't believe how sexy she was when she danced even from a distance.

He found himself thinking for the first time since meeting her, that he'd actually prefer to have a proper relationship with this girl, rather than merely a one night stand. He then frowned slightly, realising she was probably way out of his league for that sort of thing to work. He looked up grinning stupidly when they actually came back over after the dance.

Zoe laughed giving a roll of her shoulders indicating a shrug. She winked before going off with her friends. She shook her head at them and said, "Fine fine fine. IF he asks I will. Gosh." She said to them only teasingly before hearing the song come on and beginning to dance with them a smile on her face laughing when her friend started to get grinded on by some random guy. She shook her head taking steps to advoid it and just danced with them, her hips moving to the beat as she did so.

When the song ended she went back to the table and noticed him grinning and said, "What? Didn't think I'd come back? Besides you do have my drink." She reminded him teasingly before taking a sip of it, figuring she needed some water to keep from getting dehydrated. She asked for a water and took a sip of it before setting it down watching as her friends got more shots. "God, you're going to have a hell of a hangover later." She reminded them with a smirk gently sitting down on Daniel's lap again.

Daniel nodded softly, "I hoped you'd come back," he admitted. He helped her onto his lap, his arm wrapping around her body again. He loved how her skin felt against his, he placed his hand slightly higher up her leg again. "So did you friends convince you to give me a shot," he whispered quietly in her ear. He nibbled softly on her earlobe.

He smiled at her friends again, while he waited for Zoe to answer. He blushed slightly, as finally the thoughts of taking her home began to arouse him, sure she could probably feel it considering she was sitting in his lap.

Zoe laughed and said, "I told you I would." She replied shrugging. She put one arm back around his neck and smiled softly feeling his hand on her leg and tried to act like it wasn't turning her on. She laughed giggling slightly when he nibbled on her earlobe and replied, "As I told you earlier. Maybe, but you'll never know." She grinned down at him.

Zoe looked at her friends and laughed seeing the guy that had grinded on Alyssa come back and try to speak to her. She felt Daniel and smiled softly at him and said, "Well, I know what you're thinking of." She teased him before glancing back over. She saw her friend looked uncomfortable and sighed before saying, "Dude, she's not interested." He looked at her and raised an eyebrow before saying, "Was I talking to you? No. Shut up." Zoe frowned and said, "No, but I was talking to you, douchebag. She's. Not. Interested. I don't know how much clearer I can be." He shook his head at her and said, "Well, until I hear it from her, I guess it's none of your business." He smirked. Zoe raised an eyebrow and laughed. Alyssa finally looked at the guy and mumbled, "She's right." He frowned wrapping an arm around her and said, "Oh, come on baby." "Hey." Zoe said standing up and walking over. "Don't touch me friend." She got in between the guy and Alyssa staring up at him with such venom. He glared down at her and grabbed her arm to push her away. "Don't touch me." She hissed wrenching her arm out of his grip. "And leave my friend alone.

After the guy put his hands on Zoe, Daniel stood up . "Hey dickhead, none of them are interested," he said. He walked over and made sure Zoe was okay the shoved the dude away from the group of girls, "maybe next time, talk to a girl before grinding all over her," he added. "Who are you their brother?" the guy asked trying to push Daniel back. Daniel pushed the guy away again, "no I just don't like watching douchebags make girls uncomfortable in clubs," he said. The guy finally decided to give up.

Turning to the girls, "On behalf of all the guys not like that ass, I apologise that you have to put up with that bullshit," he said. "You girls alright?" he asked taking his seat again.

Zoe was surprised when Daniel stood up. She looked up at him nodding her head to tell him he was okay. She smiled softly at him and laughed hearing his words and sat back down on his lap and said, "Alyssa is a little shy." She smiled at her friend who smiled back and nodded. "I thought you were about to punch him, Zo." Claire said laughing. Zoe shrugged and said, "Almost did if Daniel hadn't stepped in." Claire nodded. "I know you don't like people you don't know or like touching you." Zoe laughed and said, "Are you referring to when that girl in our class kept trying to correct me and touching me and I finally slammed her face into a wall?" Claire giggled nodding.

"We're fine. It happens more than you'd think." Zoe told him smiling at him. "Though normally we don't have another guy come to our defense so thank you." She kissed his cheek before laughing as the girls ordered another round of shots and shook her head sipping on her walk-me-down.

Daniel chuckled, "Well it sounds like you don't need a guy around for that, apparently you can defend yourself well enough," he said softly. He smiled at her friends, "Well I might take this one out for another dance, and if she'd do me the honor, take her back to my place," he told them. He stood up holding Zoe around the waist carrying her with him towards the dance floor.
