Elwin hummed a little in thought, not liking the idea of Nyrel knowing, but he knew Aerith wouldn't tell anyone if she had promised not to, although now that she and Nyrel were married, he wondered if she would tell him anyway, as she'd probably argue that he wasn't just 'anyone'. He sighed, pressing a little kiss to her forehead before continuing on their way back to the main part of the castle, stopping outside of his room. "Alright... Even if he does find out, I suppose it's not the end of the world... But if he gets mad I'm going to tell him it was your idea." He grinned a little, leaning down to press one last kiss to her lips before stepping away.
"I'll let you get back to the infirmary.. I ought to get to work, and keep the Council busy so they don't notice that Aerith is missing. The longer we give those two to get to Ashwick and make their marriage official the better." He pressed a quick kiss to her cheek before heading into his room with a little sigh, not looking forward to going back to doing boring paperwork after such an exciting morning.
Aerith settled into Nyrel's side with a content sigh, her eyes closing for a moment as she relaxed into him, opening them again when he kissed her knuckles to smile up at him. "I like it when you call me that.. Wife. It sounds so official. I... I never thought I'd get married, to be honest.." She said with a little blush as she snuggled closer. "I'm very glad I did though, especially to you."
She scrunched up her nose as she saw his mischievous grin, shifting a bit in her seat to better face him, her hands resting lightly against his chest. "Please, Nyrel? No leeches. I'll give you whatever you want if you promise not to throw me in, I swear." She looked up at him with a little frown. "Besides, if you do decide to throw me in the pond, I may be inclined to start putting mud and worms in your bed again... But you're not allowed to hate me if I do, because you just promised to never hate me." She stated matter of factly, holding up her hand to show the ring he'd put on her finger less than an hour ago, although she was struggling to hide the little smile that wanted to spread across her lips, wanting him to think that she was serious.
