Zelo was finally back in Seoul. He found out the real reason his parents up and moved that day ten years ago. It wasn’t because his dad got a new job, they were trying to keep him away from Yongguk.

Yongguk left the studio and started to head home. It was the first time in weeks that he was going home. He was working on his album and he just got into a little music groove so he stayed at the studio.

Zelo was at a convenient store, purchasing some ramen. He had just moved into his apartment but only had enough money to purchase food from the convenient store for now. As he was leaving, he spotted someone familiar. “Yongguk?” He said, maybe a little too loudly, since he saw him stop a few steps aheadZ

Yongguk had his AirPods in, blasting music as he walked so he didn’t hear Zelo. He kept walking home.

Zelo sighed, “Maybe not..” he said to himself as he walked the opposite way towards his apartment. He was curious now, was Yongguk’s number still the same?

Yongguk sighed when he got home. He was so tired. Just as he flopped down on his couch, he heard his phone ding. When he opened the text, he saw, ‘Yongguk hyung. Is this you?’

‘Yes this is. Who is this?’

Zelo was suddenly nervous. He hadn’t spoke to Yongguk since that phone call all those years ago. He knew he probably hated him but he hoped he would at least let him explain.

‘It’s Zelo..’ he sent, before sitting his phone down.

Yongguk didn’t text him back.

Zelo sighed and tried calling him.

‘What? What do you want?’

“Hyung...I’m sorry...I didn’t mean to ignore you for all these years but my parents...they made me move to get me away from you..”

‘They made you ignore me for the rest of high school, I get that and I can’t blame you for that but what about the years after high school? The years you could’ve called me, you could’ve come see me but you didn’t.’

“I wanted too! I really did and I tried but they wouldn’t let me. I only moved back now because...” zelo sighed as his eyes teared up, “my parents died, hyung...that’s why I moved back now..”

‘I’m sorry Zelo...’

“Can I see you, hyung? P-please..” Zelo asked, his voice cracking as more tears fell.

Yongguk sighed, ‘where do you live?’

Zelo gave him address before telling him he’d see him soon and then hung up.

Yongguk sighed as he got up and went over to Zelo’s place. He was tired and he wanted to sleep but still he went because it’s Zelo and nomatter what, Yongguk will always go running to him. Soon he stood in front of Zelo’s door. He knocked a few times.

Zelo had just finished showering when he heard the knocks. He threw on his boxer and sweatpants before going to answer the door.

Yongguk looked up at him when he answered the door, so many emotions playing across his face before he reeled them in, ‘I’m here.’
