Mibba's Thoughts: What Does Your Tattoo Say

Tattoos are a big part of who a person is. Sometimes they show a glimpse of a person's past. Other times they take a look into a person's future. No matter what a tattoo represents, getting a tattoo isn't something that's usually taken lightly. In this edition of Mibba's Thoughts, Mibbians discuss the age old question: to tattoo or not to tattoo?

My biggest worry at the moment is trying to find [a] font [that] won't look too odd at some point in the future, like if I fell pregnant and the skin got all stretchy or whatever may happen to my body. I'll probably stick with Times New Roman or Georgia because they're simple but elegant, in my view. Absolutely dreading the pain though, because everyone I've talked to says that getting their ribs tattooed was ridiculously painful.

Decided a few days ago my Disney vault/filmstrip tattoo will have to be bigger than half my arm. It'll extend most of the way down with several broken up filmstrips and the vault probably taking up most of my upper arm. I'm excited.

Oh my gerrrrd, I want a couple of small simple tattoo's. My mom is completely okay with it, she's even going to take me when I'm ready. I'm just waiting to make sure that if I still them in a couple of months, I'll get them. I just do not want to regret what's going to be [permanent] on my body.

After I got a Henna tattoo a couple weeks ago, I've thought more of how I wanna get a tattoo when I turn 18. I have two ideas. I want the words "hope" and "love" chained together above my ankle. My other idea is a book and guitar laying together because books/knowledge and music are very important to me. After reading through this thread and talking to my friend who has tattoos, I'm excited to turn 18 to get them.
