see, in california, most people were raised on Peet's Coffee, which is a bit stronger than starbucks. so i like the stronger stuff. but, people who aren't into REAL coffee go to starbucks. nothing wrong with that, i go there for peppermint mochas in the winter, its just more sugery than coffeeery (wow. that is definatly not a word. maybe coffee-y works better?)

well don't worry, auckland if my favorite by far. i'm not so big on the whole starbucks thing. there's a little coffee shop near the red dog (pizza place, ever been? it's amazing) that i love for hot chocolate. they make it in the huge bowl like cups, with golden syrup in the bottom. its amazing. i can't remember the name of the place though. ya, shopping in auckland is better than anywhere else on New Zealand. Cause you can actually.....get this.....shop!!! in a mall!!!
