I'm the same :D I'll keep re-writing something until I get the right :) But when it comes to contest entries, I'll usually just write something and hope I win XD

It's obvious that you take the time to write them, unlike so many I've read on here....in fact I just got done finishing a one-shot that made me shake my head.

Hey, do you think you can extend the deadline for your Asking Alexandria lyric contest? To be honest, I completely forgot about it until today, and I don't know if I can come up with something by tomorrow. I'll try, but it would really be helpful if I could be given a few extra days.

Ah, you're most welcome. You certainly deserved some nice comments after all the hard work you evidently put into the story. =) I'm glad I could add a bit of excitement to your day!

I understand, it sounds like you were left with a pretty daunting task and it's not easy to remember everything. Having said that though, I think you did a brilliant job after having to finish the story alone. I would love to read the sequel, should you ever have the time (and patience ;P) to write one.
As for the characters, I think it's visible they weren't supposed to be happy alot of the time and who could blame them? I definitely think you balanced out the actions, thoughts and emotions well even if, like I previously mentioned, the bad patches were a bit too drawn out- for me, at least. I'm not saying you didn't write them well though- I really think you did. =)
Either way, congrats on finishing the story and I look forward to reading the possible sequel. ;D <3
