People let themselves fall under this false sense of security so their perception of reality is skewed. Then again, who's to say mine isn't, either?
Exactly. My father and I were talking about this before. Some news stations god on certain groups because of their political status. Why not tell the news non-bias? Fact and fact. Not fact and opinion.
Because reality has always been beaten to a pulp and ignored. It's like the guy the street with a cup shaking it for change. We all see him, we pity him, but we ignore him completely.

I agree! It recently happened to me and... well, it's pretty much screwed up my life and I'm, like, haunted.

Oh, okay, so this is what pisses me off... When the people you think you knew so well, who claimed they loved you, suddenly turn their backs on you and left you to drown, alone, and haunted, unable to trust anybody, not even yourself. That is what I hate.

Perhaps it is modern culture I hate the most.
Modern culture can be placed under various categories such as music, clothing, celebrity, television, culture, etc.
I hate what we have created here in America, on the continent, on the earth.
We're constantly fueled by meaningless things such as the Internet and television. We're fed by celebrity gossip and ignorant lies spoken by "valid" news anchors. What happened to the honour system? I don't feel like I can trust anyone any more.
It's depressing, really.
