Thank you for the comment. There probably were angels looking for him but it's kind of hard to find someone when you have no clue where they could be. As for his character he is training to be a guardian angel or healer, plus his life is sheltered in a way so he doesn't really have to be strong. It's how he was brought up. If he had chosen to be a different type of angel like say his brother or sister then he would be way different, but he didn't. Now which angel's names do you need to know how to pronounce? ^ ^

i think they were supposed to be mid twenties and the story is on permanent hiatus. My co-writer decided to bail on me (due to life) so until i find the urge to find a new cowriter/write both pov's myself, there probably won't be any more chapters.

The plan is to do a brief flashback to it. But it's a Shim flashback hehe and he usually doesn't put much detail in them so it's alright :)

I called it 'Secondary Spine' because I really struggle to think of story names, in my computer I have all little code names for my stories, this one is 'bound' but I was pretty sure lots of people call their stuff names like that.
I thought about using A7X lyrics, but they are starting to get more and more overused. My favorite misfits song is called "helena", it's about torture, obsession and possession. They cut off her arms and legs in order to keep her trapped. it's supposed to be based on the movie 'boxing helena'. I thought it was rather appropriate for the type of story I was writing, especially as there will be a little bit of insanity in the future.
Why that exact phrase? Well, most of the lyrics didn't sound right without a string of other words, and I'm not keen on huge titles - they're too hard to remember. Secondary spine just stuck, it's short, snappy, and I still have no idea what it means after trying to find out for months.
