Of course it doesn't effect my view of you, you are a hockey fan and I love that you have a different opinion than I do and are willing to speak about it. That's a real hockey fan and of course I see where you're coming from.
I know he's said that, and he's said it in the heat of the moment. I think he's a good guy and so he's gotten passed the rivalry. You have to do that in the NHL. Like what if his contract was sold to Phillie earlier this year? He wouldn't have had a choice. And as much as players do have a choice, they don't.
Obviously they all play because they love it. But it's gotta be about the money sometimes, it's how it is in every job. But I think that Max sees that, unfortunately, his time there is done. He's not gonna do good if he's not getting what he deserves, and so he goes where he's wanted/needed.

How many players in the history of the NHL have stayed on one team their entire career? Not allot. It's not fair to expect him to stay and get less than what he deserves. I just don't think it's fair to turn on him just because he's leaving. What's gonna happen when everyone else leaves?
