After she switched schools because we weren't bowing down to her every whim. But through her I made another friend, and I swear, we are so alike it is almost creepy.

Hello. I read your "about me".
I wanted to say that I have a great great grand something or other that was tried and hung as a witch in the Salem witch trials. Three, actually. But two of them were crazy so they don't count.
And my best friend of 7 years deserted me to go to some other school, then had the gall to say I was the one breaking us up because me and this other girl became friends since my first friend was totally ignoring us. (I can go on and on about this...)
But don't give up in friendships. Some people are asses, yes, and usually the people you are closest to. But not everyone is. So yay!
I hope I didn't bug you. I tend to to do that.
