Not true. Alot of people do, especially people on this website. Slytherin and Ravenclaw are just very under-represented.

Doesn't matter. The point the epilogue was making was that BECAUSE Harry asked not to be put in Slytherin, it made him no longer eligible for Gryffindor. Whatever house you *want* to be in says something about the person you are.
