I bet it was scary for everyone feeling it, especially if they didnt know what was going on. I don't think anyone around here happened to be watching the news. I think everyone was pretty much freaking out.

Everything seems to distract me. When I was on msn I was only getting maybe one chapter typed in the evenings when I got off work. If I stay off then sometimes I can get up to five done. But, I miss you girls so I'll just have to start balancing time haha.

I figured I'd check to see if you replied before bed. haha.

I'm sorry to hear bout your granny. I hope she's doing better now honey. :(

I heard about the quake! Actually a lot of people around here were feeling the aftershocks. I talked to some of the girls in the salon and I guess they felt it, and then my boyfriend called and said a lot of people he knew did as well. Shew, that's so unusual for something like that to happen around here.

Of course, babe! Just send me your chapter when you're done with it and I'll get started on mine. I'm finally getting a decent amount of chapters written up with my others. I'll also remember you're on later of nights, so I'll start signing on some more later in the evening, since I usually get distracted by the television anyways. haha.

I miss talking to you and Kayla all the time. :(

I'm usually going to bed by midnight, and I've been staying off msn a lot to get writing done. I was falling so far behind between being on there and working. I usually sign on and if someone doesn't pop up in like 10 minutes then I'm off, unless I know one of you girls is gonna be on, then I sometimes wait. haha.

Round Two results for The Uproar Challenge have been posted at long last. Everyone will be sent the guy that they are to write about within the next two days. An extension will be given into September to ensure that Round Three is equally as long as Rounds One and Two were. :)

A lot of people think we can cut them out if we go short eough, but we can't It's just stupid to think that. Ugh.

Aww. I work tomorrow, but I'll be home in time for it. I cannot waittttttttt. I want me some more Eric and Sookie :X You'll love the last episode!

Yeah, most are pain in the ass. We had a little girl with lice in the shop the other day. I was disgusted. Her mom knew she had them and had the nerve to bring her into us.

No, no, no! lol. Back to school; meaning haircuts. The salon is packed with kids since it's back to school week.

yea, you'll totally need that car. it took me an hour to walk to my friend's house yesterday. realistically she lives four blocks away. isn't that crazy? the quiet and relaxed feeling is nice to visit, but i miss falling asleep to those random people blasting music on the street, and the sound of traffic and such.

haha, tourists always find a bunch of crazy stuff. and it's funny, because they're like OH MY GOD! and everyone else is like, "what? that's normal." haha, my cousins from germany came here a few years ago and they found a bunch of stuff to go look at. leave it to tourists ^.^

ugh, i hate it. and you need a car to get anywhere. my block by itself is one tenth of a mile. ONE BLOCK. i find that a bit ridiculous. and it's just so boring TT.TT only good thing about this part of long island is the crazy donkey.

there's not really much in the bronx to visit besides the zoo and the botanical garden, except for cloisters maybe. cloisters museum is nice!

oh wow xD you're like 15 minutes away from my house! i honestly hate LI. i love the bronx so much more! ohh! i know where you live! you're more towards the beaches and the verazano, where as green point is directly across from manhattan xD i still kinda live next to the zoo. my dad hasn't moved ^.^ i love it so much! the botanical gardens are right there too, i just love it. then there's arthur ave. which is like our little italy. i could just go on about the boroughs forever! they're really under appreciated on long island.

i'm like a 30 minute drive from the bronx xD i'm right near amityville, and farmingdale. you know, adventureland and all that useless jazz? BROOKLYN!!! ^.^ oh jeez, don't let it depress you! where abouts in brooklyn? my uncle used to live in greenpoint, which was like all russians, germans, and polish people (i don't know what they'd be called, haha!). he lives more towards bushwick now which is mainly hispanics, so i have tons of fun there! i grew up close to the bronx zoo, so i love my area :D

i was mostly born and raised in the bronx, now i live between long island (which totally sucks TT.TT) and the bronx :D what about you?
