I do think so :) he's in the US Army and he's stationed in Germany. He went there for some field training for a couple weeks. They're getting ready to deploy.
I'm one of those people who doesn't listen to a specific genre. I guess, though, I listen to rock and pop? I don't know XD Stuff like Tokio Hotel, Lady Gaga, and of course Kerli's heavy-beat stuff :p
So are there any other good Estonian singers or bands I should listen to? They don't have to sing in English. In fact, I'd prefer they didn't. I have more foreign stuff on my iPod than English stuff XD
Mhm, same here. Some of them I don't like but there are a few songs I adore and make sure to listen to every few days. I like her accent. :)
Yeah, definitely. Like in college I'm taking a lot of languages. They also have stuff like LiveMocha where you can learn it yourself. My mom's friend's father is straight German and he sent me some German lessons so I'm using those and can speak a little, but it will still take some time. XD I'm planning on learning German as my second language and moving there to live, but I adore traveling so I'm learning a bunch of other languages and traveling to those countries, too x]
I totally hope so, too :D I'll tell you if I'm coming and you tell me where you live and I'll jump out of a plane and parachute to your house XD
Yeah, I think most people started to know who she was when she did her collaboration with Tokio Hotel (who is my favorite band x]) on the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack. I've asked people about "Strange" and most of them have heard it, which is good. :) She's very talented and she deserves to be known. I saw her do "Creepshow" live on a Youtube video and her performances are pretty good. I'd like to see her in concert. :)
Well, you're very good at English. :) All the other countries are so much better with languages because they're usually forced to learn English in school, like in Germany where you take it from 2nd grade or so all the way to Gymnasium. Americans just have a little Spanish in their younger years and then in highschool, they learn two years of whatever language they choose, and a lot of times, they forget everything they learned. It really gives us a bad rep with other countries :/ But yeah, I know some French and am learning German. Trying to learn Russian, but their alphabet is so hard D: I'm determined to learn Estonian because I love the way it sounds x] I'm pretty naturally good with languages, so I'm hoping it goes well. :)
That's good, though. I'd rather have untouched wilderness than all these housing developments like we do in America :/ I mean, honestly. I want to see Estonia one day x]
That's awesome. :) Apparently there's something in Estonia called Kerli Syndrome which is when you get famous but then you drop off the radar right away XD Poor Kerli. I think she's great. I have her song "Creepshow" on my iPod and I'm working on learning the Estonian children's rhyme in the middle. I'm actually planning on learning Estonian x] I want to be a translator when I grow up, so I'm learning a ton of languages. Creepshow's not the only one I have, though XD I have..."Army of Angels", "Beautiful Inside", "Creationist"...a lot, really. :)
