I know your pain. I got laptop a year ago and it was just so awkward writing it on a desktop. Especially since my step-dad and mom used it as well. It would've been awkward if they would've read it or something. I don't think that they would intentionally read it but he cleaned the computr out a lot so he could've benn like 'oh, whats this?' and then read it. Nothing would have ever been the same. I tend to use big words to over compensate. But luckily I catch myself and change them out.... for the most part. I think the time I get most self-concious is when I write smut scenes. It's just awkward to write it when your mother is sitting on the couch across from you. And she hates when I go upstairs to write because once I go up I don't come back down for the rest of the day.

I am so self-concious of my writing. I don't let anyone I know in real like read it. At least that I know about.
I got a chapter done today. I was ecstatic! And I actually think it is pretty awesome which is a rare occurence. I just need to fix up the ending a bit because I was rushing it, just so I could say it was done. xDJanuary 1st, 2012 at 07:09am -

I try not to let people influence what I do with my stories. But sometimes other's are right. What seems perfectly logically to me might not be as logical as I thought. For the most part, though, I don't let others tell me what to write. It is something I do for myself.
