i understand completely. the days keep getting shorter, but they keep feeling longer and more muted as winter settles itself in the air. it scares me how naturally i bounce from moments of intense despair to periods of days where i can't even wrangle my soul to be sad about my sadness. it just hangs, permeates, and then drags down hard, in unpredictable cycles. but reading your words; it feels like coming back to a familiar place, like a patch of sunlight on snow and it brings me relief, deep in my bones, to know that warmth is not as completely lost to me as it seems, to know that this sense memory exists and can be called upon when i think of my habeeba's familiar heart and flowing pen. <3

i don't even know what my life has become without your presence in it.

And yeah, exactly! I don't know if I just had too much free time in high school or what, but the more things get added, the more I forget that an entire semester can be a long time, and I'm frazzled like I have to get it all done in one day. Just part of me being a stress case, I guess.

I'll definitely do that, and aw, thank you! You're so incredibly sweet, I can't even take it. But I hope that you end up adjusting, too, and that everything falls into place for you and you start having a great time with your college experience. You certainly deserve it. :)

*sighs in relief* I'm glad that you said it's natural, so I don't exactly feel like a freak for feeling the way I do right now. And you're right, we will both get used to the way things are. I just hope that I actually adjust like everyone says I will instead of stressing and stressing and stressing until my head melts off my neck. Hahaha. Maybe the stress will go away once I figure out what I'm going to do for the different aspects, like my volunteer work and observation hours. *sigh*

My favorite art is graphic design which I plan to major in. And I'm in a community college right now and it's considered a very good one for me to take all the classes I need to transfer.
I feel ya. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have to wait an hour for my bus.
I'm currently in my photography class. (:

I'm a freshman in college and currently taking all the general classes and art classes.
It's not stressful for me yet, but I like how things are going so far!
