Yes I speak, write, and read in Spanish. I'm surprised to because I've never met a lot of Hispanic English majors so far. As for my roots I don't mind speaking about them. I'm proud of the person I am to this day because of what my family has done to give me the life I have today. On top of that I would gladly speak of my history of my life because it makes the person who we are!

I'm pure Mexican. Do you speak Spanish too? Write it? I'm sorry it's just you never see a lot of Latinxs on here, and the few that are on here would rather keep their roots hush, hush and it's sometimes disheartening.
