ABSOLUTELY! :) Take that first step. Trust me it was hard at first, but each time gets easier and easier :) I love making friends. Even where I work I have some amazing new friends, they are my work family :) It makes things so much better :) Being shy is tough, it took me years to somewhat get to this point.
