Wow. I wrote a lot.

I'm not sure if punk rock is supposed to do that but their songs do make me cry too. Like you said, their songs do make me realize that everything will get better eventually. If I met you in person, I would have said the same exact stuff that you just said, including the band thing. I started my own band and we're supposed to meet over the summer to plan stuff...I only started it because of Green Day and we haven't gotten around to name it yet.

While all the girls in my school are obsessed with looking good and getting guys, I'm more focused on what life is really about and really just about life itself. We had this essay we had to write in school about whether parents should choose their children's friends. It was persuasive so the reasons my friends used against that idea was that the children might not like the new friends and stuff like that. The reasons I used were what if the parents were racist? Or that children might not get the experiences they need to survive the world when they grow up. I had reasons like that. As you can see, their is a big distinction between my reasons and the other person's. I guess that's where maturity comes in.

I write a lot of songs and poems. Almost all of them are either really depressing( for some apparent reason) or show lots of anger. That's the only thing my friends say about it and that they're pretty good. A few of the songs I've written have some guitar to it and it sounds like Green Day. Well, no duh, right?

Anyway, I'm glad to know that I have another mature friend.

I know my story is wrong. I feel the exact same way, trust me. Your comment made me smile. I don't know why. It just did.

Anyway, I read your profile and I just figured out that we have a lot in common. I used to be Green Day obsessed with them and everything but now I only care about the music. Their songs just make so much sense and apply to my life. It's so weird. No wonder I like their music and them so much. I used to play violin but I quit after three years for a few reasons, one including that I got a guitar, which I taught myself how to play for two years. I'm pretty good, I think. I can't play any superfast solos though.

Going back the story, the next chapter is unexpected. So prepare.

Yeah. like i said, Green Day just swore too much, and made life suck. yet, their music is SOOO true! i forgot what song, tho. haha.

after i finish my huge hit 'Billie, Ever Think of Having a Daughter' is done, we should co-write a story!
i'm like having 3 ppl co writing with me! more like i plan on it. hahaha.

yeah I know what you mean. 7th and 8th grade i was complety obsessed with them. i used to think mayb if i start dressing like a punk, that is where i belong. i didn't fit in with them. to quite honset, i was scared of them. 8th grade, i still was a little puk, but towards the end of the year, i stopped listenin to GD and MCR. MCR was just too sudical for me. i couldn't stand them!
so, 9th grade, i was just being myself. i became closer to other people, some of the punks started to talk to me. i was myself and i got more friends. some are preps-punks. but, i think the reason so many ppl flocked to me, is because I was a Chirstian. As a Christian, i became very supportive of my friends. so, i plan on being myself as i enter the high school.
