I'm not sure. I originally gave the story to a friend but she didn't continue it, so I could potentially, but it'll be a while before I start posting again if I do continue it.

Hello. :-) The spelling/grammatical errors were just jotted around here and there throughout; I'm afraid it would take me too long to go back and find them. I think they could be spotted next time the story is proof-read.

I don't blame you. I have to admit I have a little thing for Steve and Sharon Carter in the movies, which is kind of like that since she's Peggy's niece and all, but he doesn't work if you have one of the other avengers being like a father figure. Although to be honest, I'd love to see Black Widow being a mother figure. Is that a thing? Do people do those stories?

Exactly my thoughts now that I'm rereading what I have written so far. I guess it's just like a guilty pleasure and what not. I haven't written a project like this in a long time so I'm slowly getting back into my process.

Next update will be a little slower coming. Gotta do some editing/rewriting.

It's fine; I love quick responses! I don't always get my Mibba emails right away (I need to add it as an accepted sender so my emails stop going to spam.).

If you're basing this anywhere near the Civil War timeline, the Cap thing might be a bit much. I don't mind the Tony as a surrogate overprotective father. I feel like he looks at Wonda like that in the Cinematic universe now anyway, so it's not too overly done since it's his character. I'm also thinking that if she looks at Tony like a father, wouldn't she look at Cap like sort of an uncle?

I think I'm against the Cap trope lol. The more I think about it the more it doesn't fit, although I suppose if you find a way to make it unique it could work, but I'm not really sure how you could spin it to make it unique.

Falling and her fear of it will be reoccurring.

Ok so, the one thing I wanted someone's opinion on was this: tropes. I'm a huge sucker for the whole "Tony Stark fumbling surrogate father" and then the girl he took in (there's an actual backstory for that in I&I, I promise.) kinda getting it on with Cap. Again super cliche and over done tropes but I am such a sucker for them. The dad one is basically a definite bec it's already been written into the parts of the story that you've read. The second one is written into the next chapter but I really don't know that I like it.

Sadly, I'm okay with the fact that you're writing for just us. That little discrepancy threw me for a loop, but I assumed it was more or less like a flashback sort of thing that would lead up to the moment in the first chapter. And I'm willing to be a sounding board. @ LA Devotee;

Sorry if it was confusing but as things stand now, Flannery is not joining Coulson's team. That first chapter was something I wrote after my own nightmare (lol). I think the relationship she has with Tony and Pepper will become clearer in the next few chapters.

I wrote that first chapter the way it was (with her kind of going to Tony) as a way to start the idea that he's who she turns to when things are scary. I wanted to also introduce the idea that it's normal for her to always be around i.e. coming to work with him in the middle of the night or sleeping in the workshop etc.

And hey, if you're interested I'm looking for a sounding board for some stuff I planned for this story. At this point, I'm basically writing it for you and me lol.
