Maybe you could start out with telling him that you really do want him to be happy, but that you don't want to lie around him either. He deserves to know the truth. And it doesn't have to turn into a group meeting. You can keep it between you and your dad. After all, it is really only about you and your dad, and your relationship...

I definitely don't think so. Honestly, I know I'd react the same way if my dad would be like "oh yeah, we're getting married" to me if I hadn't seen him for ages.
Maybe you react this way, because in a way, your dad is replacing your mom. As their daughter, that really hurts.
I can imagine that it's hard to find out that your dad has moved on with his life without you and your mom. It may seem there's no place for you right now, but I'm pretty positive your dad wants you in his life. You're still his daughter, after all.

Right now, your dad thinks you're happy about it all, maybe you should take some time apart with him and explain him how you actually feel about it?
It'll be hard, if only it was as easy as I'm now making it seem, but I think it's a rough patch in the road you'll have to fight to get over, but in the end you'll feel better about it.

It's all weird and all right now, I can imagine, but know this:
