Conor Oberst is everthing in my life. :)

    *throws random fact at you*
Haha, I purchased and printed two tickets to see his Conor Oberst and the mystic valley band yesterday. I couldn't stop holding those two papers because it seemed so surreal that I'll finally be seeing and hearing him.

Ah, I see. I was born in Novaya Zemlya. I've lived all over Russia though. I've lived in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Al'met'yevsk, Chelyabinsk, and Novorsibirsk.

Yeah it is. Another amazing thing is, this guy that works with my sister looks alot like Conor Oberst. Its crazy. One of their regulars(my sister works in Starbucks) found my sister on myspace and asked her if the guy she works with has a myspace and was saying how he looks like Conor Oberst and everything. It was quite funny.

I do think homophobia/racism/sexism is wrong, nonetheless I don't think it can be stopped. It will be there no matter what anybody says about it. All I'm saying is that sometimes people can be hypocritical. They judge homophobic/sexist/racist people on their views, while they are the ones saying that one should not judge people on their views or the way they choose to live their life.

I do not, however, condone hate crimes and people that choose to express their views through violence.

Also, addressing the part about telling people not to say "that's so gay,":
I was simply saying that I think it's wrong when people are preachy about not saying "that's so gay," but turn around and say "that's so retarded." I think it's perfectly OK to explain to people why it is offensive to say either. If they choose not to listen, they're the ones that end up looking like jerks.

I feel like parts of that may not have been clear in my journal.

haha yes I do too. The weirder the noise the better the song is.

On one of the main roads by my house there's a place called Oberst Landscaping and they have a big sign outside and everytime I pass it I get the urge to write Conor on it...

"sheep man" Thats great. Where'd he get that from? I played "Ship In A Bottle" for my friend's little sister and now she always asks me if she can listen to the song with the baby crying.

Thats neat about the guy you like. That would just make me like someone more if I found out they like my one of my favorite bands too.

Yeah I've done that "We're going to a party! It's a birthday party." one before.
My sister likes them, but she is the only person around where I live that I know that likes them.
Bright Eyes has the best lyrics ever. oh my mom likes them too.

    I know. ._.

I disabled comments because they just wouldn't let up. Guess it proves they had a little too much time on their hands.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. It's just I was really offended by that, and it irritates me to no end that people think it's okay to insult me for what I believe but it's totally wrong to do the same to them...

    Thanks for the journal comment.

What it was about though, was how people think it's okay to insult Christianity, but expect people to respect what they believe.
