I'm writing it with a co-author and we're doing our best to not make it totally mary-sueish.

Ha, I have to do the same thing, god Tara got us so upset everyone stayed up all night.

The main focus is Fred and George because I can not write a story about a main character, I hate taking them away from the original character.

I normally write about places I've been to because I always get lost in reasearch and never finish writing my story, but that makes sense. Why wouldn't you research?

I hate stereotypical American transfer stories. They're always because their parents are forcing them to move and the main characters are 'so depressed'!

Although that makes me a hypocrite because I'm writing one now but I don't believe the reason why my character had to move has been used yet so I don't know if I'm technically a hypocrite. I'll have to think about it.

Anyways, back on topic, I agree with little alice in the comment below this, Tara didn't even research the book, and it's perfectly possible to write a fan-fiction on just research. I want to know where this girl is.

Ugh, I started reading the original about a half hour ago. I'm not sure I can make it all the way without having a mental breakdown. I mean honestly when you write fanfiction about [i]anything[/i] you do research or at least have some kind of respect for the original. When I started writing a Marauder's era story I researched for a week just make sure I didn't fuck it up. I've read tons of fanfiction and everyone seems to put time and effort into it even if it's not all that great. But this girl! She just threw whatever she wanted down and it's insulting!

Your right, I mean you could even watch the movies and write a semi-ok story, but personally I think she wrote it like that on purpose, because [i]no one[/i] is that stupid.

And no one acts like that. Even the most overly dramatic person on the world doesn't act like she does in her authors notes.

And what pisses me off further is the fact that she didn't even write about vampires in a good way.

PS when you post that story I want to know.
