I usually don't like giving poem critic because I look at it as a written form of freedom of speech, but I get where you're going with the dashes ( -- ) but it's not too appealing to the eye. I understand you want an indent but I don't find it too necessary to place here, maybe on a word document alone.
Otherwise it's a nice poem with good imagery. =)
