It's very deep. I've had a friend like this and I've been the friend like this. No matter what you say to them, they don't see. They're blind by their own pain whether it be because they think they're ugly, fat or b/c there is too much emotional/ physical pain in their life. I know how both sides feel. I'm sorry. Still, it' was a really good poem.
