Understanding Unless - Comments

You're [i]completely[/i] right.

So the way I interpreted it, it's sort of a commentary about how we're willing to feel for those who make angst a sort of defining trait, yet automatically shove aside those who seem happy or willing to flaunt a little of what they've got as "slutty," "fake," "dramatic," etcetcetc. Am I on to something, or waaay out there in left field?

I do like the poem.
