Actually when this poem was written I was slowly recovering. As of last week, my stepsister realized I was harming again and I'm being sent to therapy as soon as they set up my appointment.

I'm embarrassed by my scars, too. I wish I never picked up that razor, but I'm glad that we're both recovered. I wish more people were.

Thank you. It's a rough thing to go through because well, it's embarrassing when people ask you why you're covered in scars.
