What a strong piece! I especially love the subtle hinting without actually saying what your talking about. This could've been a piece about a person close to the speaker or even a favorite article of clothing that holds sweet memories that we never want to fade. I think this in itself makes it unique not just for you, the poet, but to each of your readers and duality makes it intriguing.
