this is such a beautiful read. In Love it makes me ache for a place i've never been, paints a picture of land pure and untouched. it makes me feel peaceful. you've got such a wonderful way with words and goodness, this is so pretty. it's amazing how well this poem managed to create an image in my mind just to tear it down in the final stanza and immediately, my heart drops because it's such a sudden shift to a whole new place. all i see is the city, nature melting and shaping into way too many people and tall buildings and this sense of dread.

this was just beautiful; you did such a wonderful job with this. In Love

This was truly beautiful! I thought it was amazing how well the word fairytale is placed in this poem. It is truly a fairytale land when all you want to do is ache to be there. Your emotion in every stanza made me weak. Great job Hug

I absolutely loved this, like to pieces. It was so nice to read and I could really tell that you love Oklahoma with the way you described it. It sounds so beautiful (just as beautiful as I've seen it to be). I'm just going to pretend the ending happened because moving always sucks, and I can tell that from this poem. Oklahoma will always have a special place in your heart even though you live somewhere else.

Everything about this poem was beautiful. Without using so much description like in stories, you managed to describe the area and just create a happy environment that you felt. I loved this!

This is lovely! I swear, the first thing I pictured was Pocahontas XD Mostly due to the banner and the second stanza. It made me want to cry reading the last stanza. Just what have we become?
