Someone To Live For

Someone To Live For.

Forever lonely she sheds her tears.
Worry passing through her from all those years.
Nothing to live for and no-one to care.
Nothing to hold on to, she feels so bare.

Sometimes she would lie there, sometimes she would cry.
Sometimes she would feel pain, but never will she die.
If ever she’d tell someone, maybe then she’ll know.
The worry she has yet to feel will fill her more with woe.

As her heart rips in two and her body starts to shake.
She has no idea what’s coming, she’s dying for goodness sake.
The blade draws nearer, her hands withered and old.
As the blood streams from her body, the rest of her is cold.

They’re gathered at her funeral, shedding all they’re tears.
Memories passing through them. From all those bitter years.
No-one now to live for, no-one that can care.
They now wish they’d known. Wished that they’d been there.
