The Fabricated Fairytale

He stands there looking oh so sweet,

Can’t see the daggers.

Can’t feel his feel his feet.

He wants to be the best man

In town.

Desires spawn lustful hope.

He turns around and starts to see.

That no one’s there,

It’s only me.

He thinks he has this battle already won.

He plays the chord

And adorns the mask,

So I can see what happens,

When the stories don’t last

It’s nothing short of a miracle.

People singing and dancing,

Full of lust and hope.

Because it’s the only way,

That they can truly cope.

I’m lost

Help me find my way.

A long lost shoe,

A shattered dream.

Will someone tell me.

What this means?

I’m stunned into a wordless

Silence.

He feels the fear

And with just one look,

They make sure that,

He’s ripped from the book.

I guess there’s no fairytale

For me.

A poison apple,

I’m in shock,

We will bury the coffin,

And turn the lock.

You won’t need light where you’re about

To go.

A sharp pain in my finger,

That I can’t compare.

Enter the castle of thorns,

If you dare.

Murder is such a horrific way

To go.

The fairytale never last,

It’s a proven fact,

That reflects the past.

Give up on love.

There is no hope, they say.

People singing and dancing,

Full of lust and hope.

Because it’s the only way,

That they can truly cope.

I’m lost

Help me find my way.
