Evil Yet Gentle

With time, nothing but tears are shed,
Nothing but terror and chaos is ahead;
Time proves that life isn't nice nor fair,
I know, she's left me nothing to spare.

We fought and yelled until the house tore,
The dogs barked on the other shore;
Nothing would stop us until the sun died,
Until the last gleam of light, and nothing shined.

The animals hated us as living man,
All of our emotions pored out like sand;
Nothing but time can change this day,
But time is ever going, that's all they say.

But time is two-faced, evil yet gentle;
It shapes us, helps us, but judgmental
When everything is shattered, it's good,
I know later we'll be be in better mood.

I hate this two-face existence called time,
I love this two-face existence that'll shine;
Now I'll sleep until the sun awakes, glowing,
Knowing she loves me, as time is now showing.
