Life Challenged

The ceiling cracks.
It's a lurch that starts in his stomach and
ends
in
his
throat.
He can feel a gag where
he shouldn't.
There's something crawling in his neck.
He's scared. He wants down.
Doesn't know how to fall. He can't move.
His head starts to fade of the world -
all of them with cameras in the doorway, notepads and pens.
He says something like,
"My head feels heavy. Static. Weighted. Fuzzy. And dry."
